Last Resort came to bowl. She has been practising since she arrived back from Mexico on Thursday and even tried to get her car out of the garage during the snow storm on Monday. It has paid off as she was the Best Hot Shot on Tuesday Night At Taylor Creek.

What a night it was at Taylor Creek last night. We had a roll off for the Free Beer - the first time in the long history of the infamous professional bowling team known as the Hot Shots.

Hot Shot Hal and Hot Shot Gord were both 26 points over their averages. The Captain ordered a one ball roll off to declare a winner. Caper Ray gave the directions on the count of 3 and they both rolled off.

There were two amazing shots (unbelievable shots) where Hot Shot Gord knocked down the 2 pin only and Hot Shot Hal knocked down the 3 pin only. What a bunch of professional bowlers.

Hot Shot Hal won the Free Beer and it is served by the Captain who secured 4 points for the Hot Shots in some clutch anchor bowling.

Yes, again. Hot Shot Gord has won another Free Beer. His 5th Free Beer this year. The only Hot Shot who rolled over his average. Yes, Hot Shot Gord is in the video again but this time it is a good thing. He is the best bowler of the night with 10 points over his average. He just made it as if no Hot Shot bowl over their average there is no free beer.

But, what is happening off screen? Hot Shot Hal didn't get a good bye kiss from Hotette Judy as her and Hotette Ann were in hurry to get into the wine. That is why he was the WORST bowler of the night.

Captain Hot Shot Wins Second Free Beer of the Season.

After watching our first video you will only know that we will get better as the year goes on. The Videographer does not have a good control of the lighting in Mike's Pub and wants to focus on everyone but the Captain. The Videographer is not seen and should not be heard. Quality control will be a bigger focus for our next blog.

Should we go back to still photos? Only time will tell but as you can see we ain't having fun as we didn't win one point.

Hot Shots Start 7th Season.

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

Yes, the infamous professional bowling team has started its 7th season. The feMALE President was so happy to see us that she wanted in on the first photo of the year and got carried away. She started to drink the Captain's free beer.

Yes, the Captain started out leading the Hot Shots with a 233 average. The best in the league. Our worst bowler, Hot Shot Eastview Ray, is seen here serving the beer to his beloved Captain. All the Hot Shots agreed that they are happy to have such a leader.

Yes, we are winning and we are having fun.

The Hot Shots 6th Season Ends in Style!

Hot Shots & Hotettes,

Hot Shot Mike would have loved watching us finish in last place as he would have had lots of material for his e-mails. Always remembered and greatly missed.

Another fun season. Thanks Hot Shots and Hotettes for all the laughs all year. It has been a great year.

Hot Shot Bubba raised his average from 151 to 158. Eastview Ray made a strong showing from 157 to 165, and he is our worst regular bowler.

Hot Shot Gord stayed in limo as he started with 170 and finished with 170. What a consistent bowler. Hot Shot Pete went from 173 to 177 up to Christmas and then took the winter off.

Hot Shot Hal went from 187 to 192 and was just starting to bowl at the end of the season. Caper Ray went from 184 to 195 and is now being tested for enhancing drugs. You beloved leader went from 206 to 213 but still couldn't get anyone to dance with at the banquet.

I give all the credit to the Hotettes, if you know what I mean.

Your Captain will look forward to September 4th when the first balls start to roll and he atarts in the anchor position, where he belongs.

Must Have Been The Glasses!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

Hot Shot Gord wins the Free Beer of the night by bowling 75 points over his average. He credits this great achivement because of his new glasses.

But we all know that it was Hotette Helene getting him ready, if you know what I mean, after returning from the wilds of Cape Breton.

Hot Shot Bubba could taste the Free Beer after rolling a 215 in the first game but had too many paid beers and folded like a cheap suit. He had to serve.

The feMALE President was in her glee last night. No only did she take 5 points from the infamous professional bowling team called the Hot Shots - she got to be a Hot Shot Groupie.

She is in heaven surrounded by her favourite Captain and Caper Ray. The Caper has his eyes closed again as he had to serve the beer as the worst Hot Shot of the night. I think he bowled with his eyes shut.

Hot Shot Groupie Francine was mad when we had a teenage Hot Shot Groupie last week and she wanted to be in the picture again this week. The Captain almost had to lock the doors to Mike's Pub to keep her out.

But, she won't be smiling next week as the Hot Shots take on her and the feMALE President and we are going to do them in.

Eastview Ray Goes From Winner to Loser!

Eastview Ray when from drinking free beer last week to serving beer to Hot Shot Bubba this week. What a Loser!

Hot Shot Groupie Francine wanted in the photo again this week to be with Hot Shot Bubba in his glory. Hot Shot Bubba gets all red in the face when the Groupies are around, or was it the rum and the sun from Mexico.

How to go Bubba, you had a great night and let the Hot Shots to victory and 5 points. Now don't pull an Eastview Ray and served next week.

Everyone wants to get in the picture. Francine jumped right in and wanted to get in with the Hot Shots. Is she happy or what? It had nothing to do with her winning the 50/50 draw again on Tuesday night for the third time this year.

Yes, that his your beloved Captain serving Hot Shot Eastview Ray his free beer. Eastview Ray, who didn't have a free beer all last Fall, now has three Free Beers this year so far.

But your Captain couldn't be happier as the infamous Hot Shots took 7 points and are on their way to the top where they belong.

The Caper Drinks For Free!

No this is not a love in.

It is Loser Hot Shot Gord serving free beer to Hot Shot Caper Ray after a great performance at Taylor Creek on Tuesday night. When Hot Shot Gord falls he falls hard. Just last week he was Top Hot Shot.

Caper Ray has moved into the 4th place bowling position and is now after the anchor position held by you beloved Captain. He won't have a chance.

The Captain is not happy as he serves Hot Shot Gord his Free Beer and then raps the pool cue around his neck.

The Captain was happier last week while looking down in the beer. Alas, Amanada was not there last night and rumour has it she won't be back. I guess she was too happy and friendly to the Hot Shots. She was very happy anyway.

We are two points out of last place and "We Ain't Having Fun."

Yes, the Captain has fallen. He was the worst bowler of the night and he had to serve beer to Eastview Ray, the worst bowler on the team. See how sad he looks with his eyes to the ground.

Amanda wanted to get in the photo again as she loves the Hot Shots.

Hot Shot Eastview Ray will soon be bowling in second place if he keeps this up.

Everyone was crying in their beer as we think we are now at the bottom of the league.

Believe It Or Not!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

If you look at the video game in the background you will see it is called Ripley's Believe It Or Not! And that is what happened last night.

The Captain predicted in his email to welcome Hot Shot Eastview Ray back to lead the team that he would also win his first Free Beer of the season. And that is what happened. He usually folds like a cheap suit in the last frame and we all thought he was going to when he started.

As you can see Caper Ray, part of the 'Two Rays', couldn't believe his eyes as he still has them shut. I think that was how he bowled his last game.

Not only did he win the Free Beer he also won the 50/50 draw for $71 and the Hot Shots could be heard all over the bowling lanes shouting "Free Beer! Free Beer!"

It was a tearing beering night as we drank beer but only got two points. We Ain't Having Fun!

The Captain Welcomes Caper Ray to Hot Shots!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

After saying a tearful goodbye to Hot Shot Pete in December it was the Captain's honour to welcome Hot Shot Caper Ray to fill his big shoes for 2007.

It was a pleasure to present Caper Ray with a beer for his dedication to the Hot Shots by waiting in the wings to bowl for this infamous bowling team.

This will be a Hot Shot Year as we take over first place, where we belong.

Now remember, "If You Ain't Winning, You Ain't Having Fun."

Hot Shot Pete Goes South Smiling!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

Hot Shot Pete goes out smiling.

After raising his average this year to 175 from a 173 last year, after winning 5 Free Beer this season (and getting 4), after having been looked after by Hotette Ann all Fall, if you know what I mean - wouldn't you be smiling too?

Yes Hot Shot Pete was happy to serve the Free Beer to his Beloved Captain on Tuesday Night At Taylor Creek, or, was he happy to head South? One can only guess.

Next week is the Christmas Fun Night so there will be no pressure on any of the Hot Shots, the Hotettes can take a rest and if we don't win we will still have fun.

Smooth sailing Hot Shot Pete. Your shoes will be filled by Caper Ray for the next part of the season and he will have big shoes to fill.

Our new barmaid Amanda has joined the many fans of the Hot Shots on Tuesday Night at Taylor Creek. She has really got into the picture and has made all the Hot Shots happy.

They are so happy that it is hard to tell which Hot Shot won the beer and which one served the winner. Can you tell?

Every Hot Shot rolled over their average tonight and we got 5 points for the professional bowling team known as the Hot Shots. We are having fun.

No Wonder We Didn't Win!!!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

Hot Shot Pete, the worst Hot Shot of the night, showed up in the most godawful lime green shirt you have ever seen. No wonder he had the worst night of the season with a low 119 score for the year.

We were on our way to the top where the money is and he did us in. He complained that he had a sore arm after he rolled a 119. He was going great guns all month and the shirt did him in.

We now don't have a chance to make first place by Christmas, thanks to the shirt.

We were getting ready to take a photo of him serving beer to your beloved Captain, with a cute barmaid in the middle, when the batteries went dead in the camera. The light from the shirt short circuited the batteries.

Who is that Masked Man? You have seen him before in many photos serving beer to the Free Beer Winner? Why is he wearing a burka? Has he reached such a low place in his bowling career that he does not want to be seen?

The Captain seems happy enough after the best bowling night of his career. And people say I am too old to bowl and should just be playing golf.

If only this Masked Man would start to bowl the infamous professional team known as the Hot Shots would be in first place.

Four Pigs & One Chicken - Hot Shots Dream Team!

This week I related a little story of Ham & Eggs to all the infamous professional bowling team known as the Hot Shots. I asked each one if they were a Pig, commited to the Ham & Eggs (Hot Shots), or just a Chicken, involved in the Ham & Eggs.

We found out on Tuesday Night At Taylor Creek. Hot Shot Hal will be forever known as Hot Shot Chicken Hal. Here he is hiding his face while serving Hot Shot Pete, his 5th Free Beer of the season, because of his worst performance of the year. Where was Hotette Judy?

All other Hot Shots rolled over their average and took 3 points from the Lightning Strikes. They are great Pigs.

Look at smiling Hot Shot Pete with the HUGH BIG FREE BEER the Captain bought him.

Don't tell Hot Shot Pete that it was purchased with my first CPP cheque? He doesn't look at the blog as he didn't see my tennis girl from last week.

No wonder Hot Shot Caper Ray is not looking into the camera. He is too ashamed after having to buy two weeks in a row and serve the Hot Hot Shot Hal two free beers in a row.

And to be beaten by Captain Brenda, a feMALE, but I guess I didn't have to tell you that. The Captain has sent Hot Shot Caper Ray back to the minors for more training.

Hot Shot Hal is all smiles as he accepts a free beer from Hot Shot Caper Ray, the only Hot Shot who did not bowl his average last night. No wonder he has his eyes closed. Maybe he should have opened them during the game and he wouldn't be serving the beer.

Hot Shot Caper broke the rules and bought Hot Shot Hal a large beer instead of small won. But then who cared - we were drinking Free Beer from Hot Shot Ray as he was the 50/50 draw last night and treated all the Hot Shots to free beer.

The Hot Shots, under great leadership, are on their way to the top.
