Merry Christmas everyone. This is our last night before the Fun Bowl on the 19th when we say goodbye to Hot Shot Pete. He moves to Florida for bowling school in Indian Rocks Beach for the rest of the season.

We finished in 6th place - 7 points out of first place, where we belong.

Yes, the 'Captain Had A Dream'. The Hotettes were suppose to go down in defeat on Saturday night during the Hot Shot vs Hotette Fun Bowl. The Hotettes were bent on winning and not even supporting the Hot Shots. The Hotettes beat us and we have now created a monster.

Yes, again. Hot Shot Gord has won another Free Beer. His 5th Free Beer this year. The only Hot Shot who rolled over his average. Another good night for a Hot Shot in the dog house for erasing all the photos on his camera on the weekend. I can assure you his bowling was not because of Hotette Helene, if you know what I mean.

Yes, Hot Shot Gord is in the video again but this time it is a good thing. He is the best bowler of the night with 10 points over his average. He just made it as if no Hot Shot bowl over their average there is no free beer.

But, what is happening off screen? Hot Shot Hal didn't get a good bye kiss from Hotette Judy as her and Hotette Ann were in hurry to get into the wine. That is why he was the WORST bowler of the night.

Did Hot Shot Hal get a kiss off screen? We won't tell as what happens on the road stays on the road.

I am getting sick and tired of seeing Hot Shot Gord in the video but at least it is good to see his face and know that he is happy drinking Free Beer.

If only I could find some way of getting Hotette Sybil out of the curling rink and the Malls to look after her Captain. She has been negelecting me now for two weeks. After watching our first video you will only know that we will get better as the year goes on. The Videographer does not have a good control of the lighting in Mike's Pub and wants to focus on everyone but the Captain. The Videographer is not seen and should not be heard. Quality control will be a bigger focus for our next blog.

Yes, the infamous professional bowling team has started its 7th season. The feMALE President was so happy to see us that she wanted in on the first photo of the year and got carried away. She started to drink the Captain's free beer.

Yes, the Captain started out leading the Hot Shots with a 233 average. The best in the league. Our worst bowler, Hot Shot Eastview Ray, is seen here serving the beer to his beloved Captain. All the Hot Shots agreed that they are happy to have such a leader.

The Hot Shots 6th Season Ends in Style!

Hot Shots & Hotettes,

Hot Shot Mike would have loved watching us finish in last place as he would have had lots of material for his e-mails. Always remembered and greatly missed.

Another fun season. Thanks Hot Shots and Hotettes for all the laughs all year. It has been a great year.

Hot Shot Bubba raised his average from 151 to 158. Eastview Ray made a strong showing from 157 to 165, and he is our worst regular bowler.

Hot Shot Gord stayed in limo as he started with 170 and finished with 170. What a consistent bowler. Hot Shot Pete went from 173 to 177 up to Christmas and then took the winter off.

Hot Shot Hal went from 187 to 192 and was just starting to bowl at the end of the season. Caper Ray went from 184 to 195 and is now being tested for enhancing drugs. You beloved leader went from 206 to 213 but still couldn't get anyone to dance with at the banquet.

I give all the credit to the Hotettes, if you know what I mean.

Your Captain will look forward to September 4th when the first balls start to roll and he atarts in the anchor position, where he belongs.

Hot Shot Gord wins the Free Beer of the night by bowling 75 points over his average. He credits this great achivement because of his new glasses.

But we all know that it was Hotette Helene getting him ready, if you know what I mean, after returning from the wilds of Cape Breton.

Hot Shot Bubba could taste the Free Beer after rolling a 215 in the first game but had too many paid beers and folded like a cheap suit. He had to serve.

Believe It Or Not!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

If you look at the video game in the background you will see it is called Ripley's Believe It Or Not! And that is what happened last night.

The Captain predicted in his email to welcome Hot Shot Eastview Ray back to lead the team that he would also win his first Free Beer of the season. And that is what happened. He usually folds like a cheap suit in the last frame and we all thought he was going to when he started.

As you can see Caper Ray, part of the 'Two Rays', couldn't believe his eyes as he still has them shut. I think that was how he bowled his last game.

Not only did he win the Free Beer he also won the 50/50 draw for $71 and the Hot Shots could be heard all over the bowling lanes shouting "Free Beer! Free Beer!"

After saying a tearful goodbye to Hot Shot Pete in December it was the Captain's honour to welcome Hot Shot Caper Ray to fill his big shoes for 2007.

It was a pleasure to present Caper Ray with a beer for his dedication to the Hot Shots by waiting in the wings to bowl for this infamous bowling team.

This will be a Hot Shot Year as we take over first place, where we belong.

Hot Shot Pete goes out smiling.

After raising his average this year to 175 from a 173 last year, after winning 5 Free Beer this season (and getting 4), after having been looked after by Hotette Ann all Fall, if you know what I mean - wouldn't you be smiling too?

Yes Hot Shot Pete was happy to serve the Free Beer to his Beloved Captain on Tuesday Night At Taylor Creek, or, was he happy to head South? One can only guess.

Next week is the Christmas Fun Night so there will be no pressure on any of the Hot Shots, the Hotettes can take a rest and if we don't win we will still have fun.

No Wonder We Didn't Win!!!

Hot Shot Pete, the worst Hot Shot of the night, showed up in the most godawful lime green shirt you have ever seen. No wonder he had the worst night of the season with a low 119 score for the year.

We were on our way to the top where the money is and he did us in. He complained that he had a sore arm after he rolled a 119. He was going great guns all month and the shirt did him in.

We now don't have a chance to make first place by Christmas, thanks to the shirt.

We were getting ready to take a photo of him serving beer to your beloved Captain, with a cute barmaid in the middle, when the batteries went dead in the camera. The light from the shirt short circuited the batteries.

This week I related a little story of Ham & Eggs to all the infamous professional bowling team known as the Hot Shots. I asked each one if they were a Pig, commited to the Ham & Eggs (Hot Shots), or just a Chicken, involved in the Ham & Eggs.

We found out on Tuesday Night At Taylor Creek. Hot Shot Hal will be forever known as Hot Shot Chicken Hal. Here he is hiding his face while serving Hot Shot Pete, his 5th Free Beer of the season, because of his worst performance of the year. Where was Hotette Judy?

All other Hot Shots rolled over their average and took 3 points from the Lightning Strikes. They are great Pigs.

Hot Shot Hal is all smiles as he accepts a free beer from Hot Shot Caper Ray, the only Hot Shot who did not bowl his average last night. No wonder he has his eyes closed. Maybe he should have opened them during the game and he wouldn't be serving the beer.

Hot Shot Caper broke the rules and bought Hot Shot Hal a large beer instead of small won. But then who cared - we were drinking Free Beer from Hot Shot Ray as he was the 50/50 draw last night and treated all the Hot Shots to free beer.

The Hot Shots Are Back!!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

The start of another season for the infamous professional bowling team known as the Hot Shots with their world famous motto: "If You Ain't Winning, You Ain't Having Fun". And by the look of this first photo - it is only the Captain that is having fun. He is enjoying his free beer as the Professional who bowled the most over his average, and enjoying it even more when Hot Shot Pete had to serve it to him.

The rest of the night was not fun as we only took two points from a new team in the league. One new member, bowling to a 150 average had all three games over 150 with the last two games 369 and 316. The Captain was upset and advised the new member he was going to break his leg on the way out tonight.

But, it was a great night. Everyone is SO happy to be back, away from the golf course on a beautiful sunny day in September.

The sad point of the night was that barmaid Emily was not their to serve us. What are we going to do without her perky face.

It Just Wasn't Good Enough!

2006 Hot Shot Of The Year

Hi Sport Fans,

The infamous professional bowling team called the Hot Shots has ended their season. And what a season it was. The first time in the 5 year history of the Hot Shots that we didn't get any honours. Hot Shot must be rolling over in his grave.

The Captain is in despair. Where does he go from here? Does he get rid of the Male Hot Shots and get feMALES to bowl on his team? He has all summer to think about it so when you see him in a daze, leave him alone as he is pondering the future of this infamous professional bowling team.

Are the Hotettes going to form their own team and beat the Hot Shots next year? It would be the end of life as we know it.

The Playoffs - Game # 1

Hot Shot Hal is in the photo again. In his regular spot as The Loser.

The Captain is leading the way in the Playoffs but he has no one to lead. Some heads are going to roll next week if the other Hot Shots don't step up to the plate and win the Playoffs.

Impossible Feat by Hot Shot Hal!

Hot Shot Hal rolled a Big 245 in the first game and then in the second game he lobbed a 144.

Impossible!

But it did happen and he won the Free Beer of the week with a 220 in the third game. What a Hot Shot.

Seems like his mug is on the blog too often.

The season is coming to an end so stay tuned for the Playoffs where the Hot Shots really show their stuff now that the Captain is back.

This was suppose to be a photo of Hot Shot Gord, known as the Loser, serving a beer to Hot Shot Hal, the Winner, after a great last game of 264. Something must be wrong with the camera as it seemed to want to focus on its own.

It was a sad night at Taylor Creek. I almost cried. It was my last bowling game until April. On Monday I take off with Hotette Sybil for a month in Florida. I don't want to go as I would rather stay and bowl with the infamous Hot Shots. I feel like I am letting the team down.

But Hotette Sybil needs a break from looking after the Captain all winter, if you know what I mean, so I am taking her to the Sun & Fun.

As you can see from Hot Shot Bubba, he came a long way from last week and was the winner of the Free Beer. Hot Shot Gord shouldn't be smiling as he was the Loser of the week, being the only one who didn't bowl over his average. Hotette Helene, where were you?

Rayette to Harryette!

Dear Hot Shots & Hotettes,

I could not accept Rayette for the All Men's professional bowling team known as the Hot Shots. The next best was Harryette.

He will not be invited back by the Captain. He bowled 220 in his second game and it was the high team score of the night for the Hot Shots. When you show up the Captain you don't get invited back. You would think at 88, ready to be 89 on April Fools Day, he would know enough to not show up the Captain.

I am still in depression for not getting any points Tuesday Night At Taylor Creek. I may have to go to Florida for sun and fun.

I have been reading your blog with great interest. I think you are a born leader and I would like to be on your team. Maybe I could replace Hot Shot Caper Ray while he is in bowling school, where he belongs.

When Bubba Falls - He Falls A Long Way Down!

Yes Hot Shots & Hotettes,

Hot Shot Bubba had no smile last night. Only Hot Shot Gord, a second time winner of the free beer, had a big smile on his face wearing his new Ambassador Bowling Shirt. Hot Shot Bubba went from a Winner last week to the Loser this week.

Hot Shot Gord had a great nights bowling, thanks to Hotette Helene no doubt, if you know what I mean. Hotettes Helene and Sybil are curling all day today and will no doubt need a back rub when they get back.

We ain't winning and we ain't having fun. I am sending the two Rays of Sunshine to bowling school next week and will be ordering the Florida Hot Shots back. We will fly Hot Shots Jim, Hal and Pete back to get the team back into first place.

What a night. I was expecting big things from Hot Shot Caper Ray back from bowling school in Nova Scotia but it was obvious that he was just down their stuck in the snow drinking K'eths.

Hot Shot Bubba Wins Free Beer!

Yes, Hot Shot Bubba on his first night of bowling wins the Free Beer.

And look who is serving. Hot Shot Hal (who won last week) was the big Loser last night with a -26 points and Hot Shot Bubba with his 210 game ended with +46 points over his average.

It seems appropriate that Hot Shot Hal would lose as The Captain supects that he was behind the "Lets do the Captain In!" last week when the Captain had to serve the beer when he wasn't even the Loser.

We lost last night and we had some fun. Not as much as our motto of "If You Ain't Winning, You Ain't Having Fun." Maybe it was because of the free beer by Hot Shot Gord by winning the 50/50 draw.

We are still in first place so keep on smiling.

Why Are These MarAl Curlers Smiling?

Because they just had a 22 minute back rub by their favourite Hot Shot.

True to their word. The Captain and Hot Shot Hal lost the bet and had to give their favourite MarAl a back rub in front of a hot gas fireplace.

As the Hot Shot motto is "If You Ain't Winning, You Ain't Having Fun." it can also be said that Winning is more than having fun, if you know what I mean.

Poor MarAl Helene didn't get a back rub as her team also lost. Hot Shot Gord now has to lead the team on Tuesday Night At Taylor Creek. Why? Because the Captain and Hot Shot Hal are worn out. Their fingers are so sore from a 22 minute backrub that they won't be able to bowl on Tuesday night.

Hot Shot Hal Wins First Beer of the Season!

Dear Hot Shots & Hotettes,

I am at a loss for words. How could one or all of my faithful Hot Shots do their Captain in?

The Captain wasn't the Loser last night. Hot Shot Caper Ray was the Loser and someone fooled the Captain. I know my Florida Hot Shots or California Hot Shot would never had done that to their beloved leader.

Hot Shot Caper Ray has been sent to bowling school in Halifax next Tuesday night to determine how one night he bowls 301 points over his average and the next week bowls 40 points below.

A RCMP investigation is unway (should be finished in 4 years) to determine who did the Captain In.

Dear Hot Shots & Hotettes,

Our Blog has been taken over by the CIA.

This photo showed up out of the sky. It looks like it was taken at sunset on Tuesday Night while the Hot Shots were getting ready to go out in the freezing rain and bowl their hearts out.

Who could this darkened figure be? Friend or foe? Is he mocking the Hot Shots in the cold or is he toasting to their success?

The Captain may have to send Hot Shot Hal to investigate.

He Walked The Talk!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

When the Hot Shots left the legion last night after celebrating another night of 7 points and leading the infamous Professional Ambassador Bowling League Hot Shot Hal was heard to say: "He Walked The Talk!"

And yes he did. Hot Shot Caper Ray bowled his best night ever in the Orleans Bowling Center. You noticed in the photo that his eyes are closed. That may have been his secret for his great bowling.

Because of the freezing rain Mike's Pub at the Lanes closed and we had to go to the Legion to get Caper Ray his free beer.

Hot Shot Gord could not make it to the Legion as he had to get his car home into the garage. Captain Hot Shot stood up to the plate and was glad to present Hot Shot Caper Ray with a well deserved Free Beer.

Who left that nasty comment about the Captain being a Loser on Tuesday Night At Taylor Creek? I know it wasn't sweet Hotette Judy so it must have been Hot Shot Hal.

How can you believe someone who drinks out of a 'used' Chamber Pot.

A Ray of Sunshine!

Hi Hot Shots & Hotettes,

We are now in first place with another 7 points last night in Taylor Creek.

The Hot Shot Beer Winner was a Ray of sunshine last night as Hot Shot Ray came through in the last game with a 65 point game over his average to defeat Hot Shot Gord with a plus 27 and Hot Shot Hal with a plus 24.

We were hoping for two Rays of sunshine but Caper Ray is still in warmup mode.

What a great night. We are winning and we are having fun.

Hot Shots Jim, Pete & Len!

The Professional bowling team, known as the Hot Shots, is now in first place in the Ambassador's Bowling League. Captain Hot Shot sent Hot Shots Jim and Pete to bowling school in Florida and Hot Shot Len to the wilds of Cape Breton. What a great choice by the Captain as he now has the Two Rays to keep the Hot Shots in first place.

Don't they look like they should be sent somewhere? They are not dedicated Hot Shots to leave the team in their time of need. Can the Two Rays, Hot Shot Caper Ray and Hot Shot Ray, lead the team to victory. Stay tuned.
